Activity log
Overview
The activity log tracks all automatic actions the plugin takes on your products. Every notification sent, stock change, and batch operation is recorded so you have a complete audit trail of what happened and when.
Location
Access the activity log at Products → Expirations → Activity Log.
What’s logged
The activity log records actions at the product level, including:
Expiry actions
- Product set to out of stock
- Product hidden from catalog
Notifications
- Notification email sent
Imports and manual changes
- Expiration dates imported via CSV
- Manual date changes in the product editor
- Bulk edits to expiration dates
Batch operations
- Batch created
- Batch stock deducted (from orders)
- Batch stock adjusted (manual edits)
- Batch expired
- Batch deleted
- Batch stock synced
- Batch swapped on order (Pro)
Variation events

Filtering
You can filter the activity log by:
- Action type — Show only specific types of actions (e.g., only notifications, or only batch operations).
- Search — Free-text search across log messages to find a specific product or event.
Clearing the log
A Clear all logs button on the Activity Log page removes every entry at once — handy after troubleshooting. It requires the manage_woocommerce capability and cannot be undone.
Automatic cleanup
To prevent the log from growing indefinitely, entries older than 90 days are automatically deleted.
